WiM President George Sandeman receives OIV honour

Every year, the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) recognises individuals for their contribution to the international wine and vine sector by granting them an honorary title. On the occasion of the 38^TH OIV Congress, former President of OIV Claudia Inés Quini presented George Sandeman, President of the WiM Association, with the OIV Merit Award for his achievements in the sector and his leadership in the Wine in Moderation-Art de Vivre Programme.

“It is a great honour to have been able to work with all of the people involved in Wine in Moderation over the last seven years. This recognition by OIV of their contribution, and of the value of Wine in Moderation – Art de Vivre, is an acknowledgement of the hard work, dedication and faith that the Wine in Moderation family has in the programme” said George Sandeman, President of the WiM Association. “It is this spirit which has turned a European programme into an international movement”.
