Wine in Moderation alongside the most recognised chefs in Argentina
Last October, Bodegas de Argentina took part in the Masticar food and wine fair organised by A.C.E.L.G.A.* to promote responsible consumption of wine. The fair which had programmed various activities, also gave visitors the opportunity to discover different types of wines alongside the WIM message. A special video was also developed together with the CAVE Wine Academy for the occasion, to educate people on how to best taste wines.
Besides the Market where visitors had the opportunity to buy typical products, Masticar also rimed with cooking classes and talks. The cooking classes were conducted by the most recognized chefs of Argentina who presented their different styles of cuisine (from French, to Japanese, passing by Asian, Argentinean, etc.) and all participating wineries associated themselves to one of the master classes making the classes all the more original. WIM was present during the master classes and leaflets were distributed to all participants.
The Masticar food and wine fair which welcomed over 100 000 visitors this year was launched in 2012 and is now at its third edition. This project came from the common interest of A.C.E.L.G.A.’s members to raise awareness about the importance of good nutrition and highlight Argentinean cuisine and culture.
