A day at Sogrape Vinhos
On 4th of April 2014, Sogrape Vinhos, S.A. received 16 students from a school in Oporto.
As part of the project "Braço Direito ", in which students experience the working day in a local company, 16 pupils were received in the facilities of SOGRAPE VINHOS for a day, with the objective of familiarizing them with the dynamics of the company, how it is organized, its employees and its work areas.
As part of this initiative, the students had the opportunity to learn about Wine in Moderation-Art de Vivre, attending a presentation about the project. Sogrape coworker Márcia Azevedo Rocha approached the theme of “moderate consumption” in a relevant manner, using examples and designs to inform the student about the legal drinking age and warn them about the dangers of premature and/or excessive consumption and the benefits of low-risk consumption.
The interest of students in the subject was outstanding, and this they expressed by asking questions and interacting with the speaker.
Following this, each employee volunteer was assigned a student to accompany them during the workday. Therefore, the student assigned to Márcia had the opportunity to learn even more about what is done in the project Wine in Moderation-Art de Vivre.
To highlight this special day SOGRAPE VINHOS prepared a set of gifts for the students in which were included leaflets and brochures of WINE IN MODERATION, a hat, a T-shirt, a pen and a pencil.
