FIVIN highlights the importance of education in promoting responsible and mindful wine consumption among younger generations
The Foundation for Wine and Nutrition Research (FIVIN) continues to strengthen its commitment to education and awareness on moderate and responsible wine consumption, always based on scientific facts.
In collaboration with the Spanish Wine Interprofessional Organisation (OIVE), FIVIN is implementing a series of educational initiatives aimed at raising awareness among young people about the importance of consuming wine in a moderate, responsible, and balanced way.
As part of this initiative, the School of Hospitality and Tourism of La Rioja recently hosted a session led by Dr. Rosa Casas, Scientific Advisor for FIVIN and an expert in nutrition. FIVIN believes that educating future professionals in the hospitality and tourism sectors is essential. By equipping them with scientific knowledge about moderate wine consumption, they can educate their customers and promote responsible drinking habits.
Education not only helps individuals understand what moderate wine consumption means but also raises awareness of the risks associated with exceeding recommended quantities.
