Wine Tourism: high on the agenda for the whole wine sector

With Wine Tourism as a key focus of its new Brand Strategy, Wine in Moderation will continue working hard to develop actions in this field, developing its training offer and encouraging wineries to increase the responsible and moderate consumption of wine in the wine tourism offer.

Recent news has also seen two important partners of Wine in Moderation join forces. The International Organisation of Vine and Wine and the United Nations World Tourism Organisation indeed signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote wine tourism as a tool for rural development.

We congratulate both institutions for this important step forward” said George Sandeman, Wine in Moderation President, “and we look forward to all working hand in hand to continuing developing this important tourism sector in a sustainable way”.
