Responsible Party: Renewal of the Partnership between Pernod Ricard and the Erasmus Student Network
26/01/2015, Brussels, Belgium – For the 5th consecutive year, Pernod Ricard has renewed the Responsible Party programme through its Partnership with the student organisation Erasmus Student Network (ESN). Responsible Party aims at promoting responsible consumption of alcohol during student parties through awareness campaigns based on a peer to peer approach. The main messages of conveyed to the participants of these parties are: moderate consumption / don't drink and drive / don't imitate your friends / eat before the party / alternate with soft drinks.

“A Moderação leva sempre a melhor” a Portuguese TV Campaign about responsible consumption

|Developed by the Association of Port Wine Companies, the TV Campaign “A Moderação leva sempre a melhor” was aired over 200 times on Portuguese National television. Constructed on a double approach, the spot presents different kinds of people, opposing those who by exaggerating, adopt annoying and/or harmful behaviours, and those who live or provide pleasant moments. The TV spot, which lasts 30 seconds, thus aims at making moderation fun and entertaining with the main message that “appreciation is linked with the right "dose". |

New website for Vin et Société

|Constructed around three main themes: mobilisation, commitment of the sector and scientific information, the new Vin et Société (V&S) website was launched at the beginning of the year. This new website aims to put forward the wine sector’s global commitment to social responsibility as well as science based information about wine, health and social aspects, to comprehensively inform and educate French wine professionals and citizens on moderate and responsible wine drinking. |

Vinos y Bodegas Wine Fair adopts the WIM message of responsibility

|Considered as one of the most important of the wine industry, the Vinos y Bodegas Wine Faire brought together Argentinean wine professionals and wine lovers in a joyful event. The 2014 edition, organised by Bodegas de Argentina and La Rural last October, welcomed more than 10 000 visitors and was indeed different than previous years as the Wine in Moderation-Art de Vivre message was put at the core of the wine fair. |

Prizes for Wine in Moderation-Art de Vivre students of German vocational schools

|Educating young wine professionals is an important focus in the work of the Deutsche Weinakademie (DWA) when implementing the Wine in Moderation-Art de Vivre (WIM) initiative in Germany. During a one-day seminar, students learn about health benefits of moderate wine drinking, the associated risks to excessive consumption as well as the legal framework regarding advertising of alcoholic beverages. |
