The VET Art de Vivre Partnership develops three training modules on responsible consumption

After two years and numerous meetings, the VET Art de Vivre Partnership Programme ended on 30 September 2014 and delivered among others, three training modules on responsible consumption specifically aimed at oenologists, sommeliers and physicians. The VET-Art de Vivre Partnership Programme, which brought together 9 different actors of both the wider wine value chain and the Vocational Education and Training (VET) area, from 7 countries, not only brought the Partners of the programme together, it has managed to become a reference and a focal point, bringing together a number of other relevant key stakeholders especially from the VET sector to consider and use the tangible results of the programme.




UIV’s second table on “Wine and Health” further strengthens WIM Implementation in Italy

Taking the opportunity of their board meeting early September, Unione Italiana Vini (UIV) organised their second “Wine and Health” round table in Montalcino, Tuscany.

New educational unit on the WIM Programme in Austrian Horeca Schools

More than 30 lecturers of the Austrian Wine Academy participated in the annual training weekend where a new educational unit on the Wine in Moderation-Art de Vivre Programme was presented to lecturers.

Vinos de Chile organises seminar on Social Responsibility with high representatives of Chilean authorities

To launch the Wine in Moderation-Art de Vivre Programme in Chile and in the frame of the Research & Development (R&D) Consortium, Vinos de Chile organised a seminar “Sustainability in the wine industry: from the vineyard to the consumer”, on 26 August.

COPA COGECA at Bruxelles Champêtre

COPA*COGECA was present at the 12th edition of Bruxelles Champêtre together with the European Commission. With the aim of raising public awareness on the benefits of sustainable food, agriculture was put at the forefront of the event with european associations present and many animations and food tasting of high quality products organised.

Argentinean Wine Week endorsed by the Wine in Moderation-Art de Vivre Programme for the first time

The Wine Week organised from September 29th to October 5th took place in Buenos Aires and the most important cities of Argentina. The event, organised by Bodegas de Argentina and Glam Out, targeted young people between the ages of 25 and 35.

“Let’s take measure of life” – the second edition of a week dedicated to a moderate consumption of alcohol, diet and exercise

The Spanish wine federation launches trivino - an online game about wine

As part of the campaign “Quien Sabe Beber Sabe Vivir”, initiated in 2012, FEV - the Spanish Wine Federation - has recently launched the first online game about wine called TRIVINO. TRIVINO aims to promote greater awareness on the world of wine with an entertaining approach, reporting on production areas, varieties and, of course, patterns of responsible and moderate consumption, central goal of the campaign.
