Wine in Moderation-Art de Vivre at Buenos Aires’ first gastronomy festival

Wine in Moderation-Art de Vivre at Buenos Aires’ first gastronomy festival

For the first time ever, a Food & Wine Fair was organized in Buenos Aires and Bodegas de Argentina (BdA) joined the party with the Wine in Moderation-Art de Vivre (WIM) Programme.

Taking the opportunity of this event, BdA set up a whole stand fully dedicated to the Wine in Moderation – Art de Vivre Programme to communicate, inform and educate people about the responsible consumption of wine. The Abunda Food & Wine Festival which took place from 7 to 9 March in Vicente López – a town located in the greater urban area of Buenos Aires – was organised in cooperation with the Vicente López Township, local restaurants, and wine stores located in the city.

The Festival is different than other food fairs in that it is not only a place to discover culinary specialties but it is also an occasion to listen to music with live bands or attend lectures; positioning thus also the food festival as a festival of culture.

The participation to the event was not only important because it linked Wine in Moderation-Art de Vivre and responsible consumption to gastronomy and culture, but it was also a first because the Vicente López Township will be the first city to join the Wine in Moderation – Art de Vivre Programme in Argentina setting thus the path for other Argentinian cities to join the programme in the future.
