Wine in Moderation at Copa-Cogeca’s annual Harvest event

Presenting the upcoming trends, opportunities and challenges in the wine sector, the event “EU VITICULTURE: Taking stock on market and consumer trends – the way ahead” took place on November 9th in a hybrid format, hosted by one of our founding members Copa-Cogeca.

The first part of the event, in an online workshop format, saw the participation of a number of high-end speakers that discussed existing challenges ranging from the effects of the pandemic and trade developments to uncertain climatic conditions and evolving consumer demands. Among them, Prof. Ramon Estruch, who is also member of the Wine Information Council, was invited to give an overview of the relationship between moderate wine consumption and health.

The event was followed by an wine tasting event where Wine in Moderation was also involved by providing information and awareness material on responsible drinking.
