Queen´s day with the German Wine Queen

On June 12th, while the UK celebrated Queen Elizabeth II, Wiesbaden, Germany, also had their Queen’s Day… or better Queens’ day! Eva Lanzerath, the German Wine Queen, and Vera Bullinger, the Distillate Queen, were the protagonists of the latest Don’t Drink And Drive (DDAD) campaign.

The queens had the possibility to test the newest DDAD’s Promille driving simulator and shared their personal experiences on their social media channels spreading the DDAD's message within their community. The DDAD campaign

The DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE campaign of the leading associations of the beer, wine, sparkling wine and spirits sectors was first established in 1993. It is the oldest ongoing road safety campaign in Germany. The aim of the campaign is to reduce the number of alcohol-related accidents. Although it is focused on young drivers, the DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE campaign aims to reach all road users with the message that alcohol and driving do not go together. The campaign is especially aimed at young drivers and beginners, as there is an alcohol ban in Germany beginners and drivers under the age of 21.
