For the second consecutive edition, Wine in Moderation endorsed the “Semana del Vino” (Argentinean Wine week) that took place from 24 to 30 October 2016, with important messaging showing how wine can be a part of a healthy lifestyle when it is enjoyed in moderation.
Developed according to the guidelines of the Wine in Moderation programme, the “semana del Vino” promoted responsible consumption and appreciation of the virtues and characteristics of different wines. The national programme partner Villavicencio (Water company) was present with free water stations to encourage consumers to enjoy their glass of wine in a pleasant and healthy way.
The “Semana del Vino” celebrated Argentinian wine together with more than 300 restaurants, wine bars and bars around the country. The programme proposed wine tourism activities, open-air tastings, experiences of wines by the glass in restaurants, a new edition of La Noche de las Vinotecas, a cocktail circuit with wine bars and a meat and wine festival, a closing event bringing wine in its preferred “habitat”: together with a nice meal.
With the participation of more than 150,000 consumers, the Wine Week is one of the biggest events that brings forward the passion for Argentine wine expressed in all its diversity.
