With education at the core of its activities, Vin & Société has been developing projects to meet the challenges associated with responsible consumption. Already involved with the National Union of Hotel, Restaurants, Café and Catering (SYNHORCAT), the French association has now signed a partnership with the KEDGE Business School and more specifically with the KEDGE Wine & Spirits Academy – the centre of expertise in the field of wine and spirits. The aim of this partnership will be to train the new managers of the French and international wine industry on issues related to responsible drinking and support the economic development of the sector through the implementation of innovative actions in education and coaching. The first training will be given in September to 150 new students.
These important partnerships come in addition to projects Vin & Société has already put into place. In 2015, training material was indeed made available online and for download on the association’s website. Intended for future professionals of the wine industry, hotels and catering, the goal of this online training is to inform and educate about issues related to responsible consumption and transform these professionals into ambassadors of responsible consumption.
