The 10th Annual International Wine Tourism Conference, Exhibition & Workshop (IWINETC) has selected Wine in Moderation to present the results of its Symposium “Responsible Wine Tourism for a Sustainable Wine Culture” which took place in Santorini last November 2017.
Together with important and internationally renowned speakers of the wine sector and tourism industry, Wine in Moderation will indeed aim to answer the question of how wine tourism can develop in a socially responsible way.
It will also take the opportunity to introduce all participants to the wine in moderation toolkit to help wineries improve their visitor experience and facilitate responsibility; and last but not least will share best practices of WiM Supporters from around the world.
While some of the tools to be presented will refer mainly to wineries, Wine in Moderation believes that responsible wine tourism requires the involvement of all various actors involved and will therefore be looking for a vivid discussion to answer questions and exchange ideas on innovative approaches.
