Moët Hennessy designed a training scheme on Responsible Consumption for its 6,500 employees around the globe (about 4,000 in Europe). This training scheme, which had already reached 1,221 people by March 2013 in Europe only, is fully aligned with the objectives of Wine in Moderation as it focuses on providing responsible drinking guidelines, raising the awareness of employees on the dangers of drinking and driving and the social and medical impact of an inappropriate consumption of alcohol. This training also allows for discussions around “best practices”. At the end of the training scheme, employees endorse the Moët Hennessy Commitment to Responsible Consumption. Wine in Moderation is mentioned during the training as one of the major associations to which Moët Hennessy is affiliated in the field of social aspects of alcohol.
