ProWein closed its doors after three intense days, welcoming over 60,000 guests and 6,870 exhibitors among which Wine in Moderation, which had the pleasure of hosting visitors at the newly designed Wine in Moderation booth led by the Deutsche Weinakademie.
Located at the Northern Entrance of the fair, the team of facilitators informed visitors about the Wine in Moderation programme, how to join and why it is important. It also took the opportunity to organise some typical WiM actions, such as breathalyser tests carried out throughout the fair.
Wine in Moderation flyers were also distributed at the 15 Info-Points of the international trade fair, providing more information on the programme, the importance of this CSR movement and how to get involved. And similarly to last year, information about the moderate and responsible consumption of wine, was found at the National pavilions and wine companies’ booths to further promote the message and the vision of the programme for a sustainable wine culture that inspires well-being and healthy lifestyles.
National wine bodies, wine trade, and wine companies continue to endorse the programme and show interest in Wine in Moderation increasing their commitment to social sustainability and their determination to inform and educate consumers and professionals on how to fully appreciate wine and encourage a healthy lifestyle and well-being
With almost 7000 exhibitors from 64 countries and over 60,000 trade visitors from 133 nations around the world, ProWein was an excellent opportunity to engage with existing and new members and supporters; and exchange thoughts with key actors of the wine sector.
