Bodegas de Argentina receives a special mention from the Congreso University, in Mendoza, one of the five most important Universities of the country.
Considering the efforts Bodegas de Argentina has put into sustainability through Wine in Moderation, since it first joined, they decided to submit a candidacy for these awards which distinguish entities who believe and invest in sustainability.
It was a great pleasure for Bodegas de Argentina to be recognised for their commitment to social responsibility and the implementation of Wine in Moderation in Argentina by receiving this award. As the first country to implement the Wine in Moderation Programme outside Europe, Bodegas de Argentina quickly became an example of good practice. The association has been very active in developing partnerships, communication material and getting the Wine in Moderation message closer to consumers to help them make informed decisions to support a sustainable lifestyle.
The distinction, awarded by the University as part of the celebration of the World Environment Day, was met by Carlos Crotta, vice president of Bodegas de Argentina, and Paula Martin, coordinator of the Responsible Consumption Committee in Mendoza.
