Responsibility and moderation at the Luxembourgish’ independent winegrowers event

On Monday 9 November, a wine tasting of the Luxembourg independent winegrowers was organised by the Independent Winegrowers’ association (CEVI) at the Embassy of Luxembourg, currently holding the Presidency of the European Union.

The tasting which was accompanied by the Wine in Moderation responsible drinking message was organised under the patronage of Jean-Jacques Welfring, Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the Kingdom of Belgium and Mr Christian Braun, Permanent Representative. This annual event of the European Independent Winegrowers (CEVI) brought together several key policy makers and representatives of the European institutions and organisations, and gave the opportunity to present the wine sector’s contribution in inspiring a healthy lifestyle and reducing alcohol related harm.

CEVI has been supporting the WM Programme from its launch and is an Observer of the WIM Association.
