In the frame of their continuous commitment to encouraging a sustainable consumption of wine, Vin et Société announced that the Wine Society of the University of Reims (SVUR) recently co-signed the charter of oenological clubs for higher education founded by the French National Coordinator.
By co-signing this charter, the SVUR commits to respect and implement a set of good practices within its oenological club as well as the applicable legal rules present in said charter. The common objectives being:
- to discover the world of vine and wine and the economic weight of the sector;
- to inform about the responsible consumption of wine within the oenological club;
- to transmit good practices of responsible tasting useful in the context of tastings.
The SVUR aims to promote the culture of wine and the gastronomy in the region of Champagne, France by organising all kinds of events: tastings, meals, visits, conferences, exhibitions, competitions, etc.
