Whether you are national wine association, a leading wine company, an international association or a local winery, you can join the Wine in Moderation movement and develop WiM actions. The nature of your association or company and your motivation to contribute, will however define which role you can have in the programme and consecutively in the WiM association.


Below you will find more information about how to get involved according to the nature of your organisation.


You are a:

  • Winery or just interested in the Wine in Moderation programme and you would like to join the programme and become a WiM Supporter

  • A leading wine company and you would like to join WiM Association and become an Ambassador company

  • An association representative of the wine business in your country and you would like to join WiM Association and become a National Coordinator

  • International or European association, you are part of the wine value chain, and you would like to join us as Observer of the WiM Association or become an Associated Partner of the programme

I WOULD LIKE TO JOIN AND BECOME A WiM SUPPORTER


All actors, companies, associations, academies, institutes, organisations of civil society and authorities related directly or indirectly to the wine value chain are welcome to join the Wine in Moderation -Art de Vivre programme as WiM Supporters.


The WiM supporter has to adhere to the programme’s values and principles and the Wine Communication Standards (WCS), to sustain the mission and objectives of the programme and encourage moderation and responsibility in the consumption of wine, by taking WiM Action under the guidance of the National WIM Coordinator.

As soon as an entity is accepted by the National Coordinator to join the programme, it is registered and authorized to use the Wine in Moderation TM/logo and as such develop WiM activities.



Wine in Moderation Ambassador Company Banner

I AM A LEADING WINE COMPANY AND I WOULD LIKE TO BECOME AN AMBASSADOR COMPANY


The “Wine in Moderation-Art de Vivre Ambassador Company” is an honorary title recognized worldwide and attributed to both the company and all its affiliates.


As an Ambassador Company you will be working closely with the national WiM coordinators and the WiM Association and play a critical role in the Wine in Moderation-Art de Vivre programme, promoting the principles and values and communicating its Art de Vivre Message.


In countries where a national coordinator of the Wine in Moderation programme does not exist, an Ambassador Company can take WiM actions and support the establishment of the programme in the respective country, in close liaison and coordination with the WiM Association.

Wine in Moderation National Coordinator Banner

I AM REPRESENTING THE NATIONAL WINE SECTOR AND I WOULD LIKE TO BECOME A NATIONAL COORDINATOR


  • I have looked on the Member’s list and I see there is no national coordinator in my country yet


The Wine in Moderation programme has not been launched in your country yet and you would like to take the lead? Become the social responsibility national reference point and start spreading the Wine in Moderation – Art de Vivre message.


A representative association of the wine sector (production, industry and/or trade), can become a National Coordinator of the programme and join WiM association as Effective member.


As such, it assumes a critical role in engaging, empowering and motivating it’s constituencies to the Wine in Moderation Programme as well as in the planning, coordination, implementation, development, and accountability of the national/local Wine in Moderation Programme in the respective country/region.


Furthermore, the Wine in Moderation Programme National Coordinator has the right to use and further authorise use of the WIM TM/logo in its respective country, according to the WIM TM Regulation of Use.

Wine in Moderation Observer - Associated Partner Banner

I AM A EUROPEAN/INTERNATIONAL REPRESENTATIVE ASSOCIATION AND I WOULD LIKE TO BECOME AN OBSERVER OR AN ASSOCIATED PARTNER OF THE PROGRAMME

Your association is somehow linked to the wine value chain; you would like to join the CSR movement of Wine in Moderation to develop specific actions, but you are not eligible to become an effective member?

You will have the possibility to do so by becoming an Observer of the WiM Association or an Associated Partner of the programme.


An Observer or an Associated partner is any company, institution, professional association, professional group, socio-economic, industry or professional body related to the wine value chain that is not eligible to become a WiM Association Effective member.


The entity shares the Wine in Moderation programme values and principles and is committed to adhere to its objectives and action plan. It should also be committed to integrating the responsible message in its respective communication material and campaigns as appropriate and develop activities under the coordination of WiM Association and/or the national WiM coordinator.


Each Observer or programme Associated Partner candidate signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the WiM Association which confirms its commitment to the values and principles of the Wine in Moderation, defines its roles and duties, as well any fee involved.
