On 28-29 October, in the occasion of their 150-year anniversary, BASF organised a Creator Space Summit to celebrate sustainability. Wine in Moderation was one of the active participants.
Creator Space Barcelona is one of the six world tour stops of this innovative celebration of BASF. Each stop featured a specific theme highly linked to the sustainability of our societies and the work of BASF. Considering the unique food culture of Spain, the Barcelona Summit focused on the challenges of responsible and sustainable consumption of food with an innovative format, and which brought together enthusiastic people curious about finding solutions to specific challenges among which helping the population adopt a healthy and sustainable diet.
With such a focus, the Mediterranean diet and lifestyle was key in the discussion, and wine could not be left out as it is naturally a part of both diet and lifestyle.
The Mediterranean Diet Foundation, an associated partner of the Wine in Moderation Programme was a key partner of the event; and considering the great implementation of the WIM programme in Spain, WIM Association was also asked to contribute to this unique workshop with its high knowledge and experience on Social responsibility.
The event that took place in the beautiful Barcelona Museum Design was accompanied by a number of installation and innovative approaches. Renowned experts on Circular Economy and Food Waste management were among the speakers and inspired the audience and the workshops.
